Yehey! At last, Google Inc. has launched its Web browser beta for windows named Google Chrome last September 2, 2008 in 43 languages.

For non-techy, what is GOOGLE CHROME?

According to wikipedia:
"Google Chrome is an open source web browser developed by Google. The name is derived from the graphical user interface frame, or "chrome", of web browsers.[1] Chromium is the name of the open source project behind Google Chrome,[2] released under the BSD license."

According from Google site:
"Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier."

One box for everything
Type in the address bar and get suggestions for both search and web pages.

Thumbnails of your top sites
Access your favorite pages instantly with lightning speed from any new tab.

Shortcuts for your apps
Get desktop shortcuts to launch your favorite web applications.

And for me, it is very cool in regards to design, it looks like a web folder. And as we know, every beta release of any web or system applications, problem is commonly encountered. I am hoping this web browser will not be the same with IE 7 or 8, coz it really "the Nerve" for us users.

So far, Google Chrome is good, long way to go Google Chrome Team, Long live Google! lol.... for Google Chrome Beta version, click HERE to download.

Yeah, had tried using it now. But seems it needs enhancements to read rss pages since it converts it to messy codes.

for a web browser, this baby has muscle power!

  5. Been using this for the past weeks, but not so much now cause I can't seem to look away from Firefox's add-ons and whatever, I use Scribefire to post on my blogger site.
But personally, Chrome is fast, but still I won't first use it as my default browser until I get productive from it, making apps from websites is a cool feature that I use for my gmail account. I rate it "A" at this time.
