Microsoft offers students an option, instead buying the whole package of windows 7 in a box, they can have it download and upgrade their system in a website in just $ 29. The move was great but several students have reported lots of issues and error encountered upon downloading or with in the process of upgrading.
The most common issue that students encountered is the fact that they cannot easily upgrade a 32-bit version of Vista to 64-bit version of windows 7. At the end, it requires a clean installation thus deleting all previous installed components or simply reformatting and installed the new OS.
