Last April 2012, BlackBerry Philippines launched its BlackBerry Academic Program at Southwestern University, Cebu City. This program provides schools with training and access to educational resources to help them integrate the BlackBerry solution into their curriculum and enable their students to develop mobile applications on the Blackberry platform. It started in Cebu and is now supporting 19 schools all around the country.

Aside from this Academic Service, BlackBerry Philippines proudly presented its mobile line-up last June 13, 2012 at the Radisson Blue Hotel in front of Cebu Media and Bloggers.
